Marvin Castro Fugon leapt from the Delaware Memorial Bridge on March 7, friends and family say.

Local authorities have ended their search for Marvin’s body, leaving the family to organize private recovery efforts, according to a GoFundMe launched by Jimmy Perez-Hernandez.

"He didn’t survive, but his body has not been found and it does not appear that anybody is looking for him," Fugon's stepfather Jason Smith of Pennsville said on Facebook on March 10.

"I know the weather is nice and there will be a lot of boats and people fishing along the River. He had on a green sweatshirt. So please just keep an eye out. Any help is appreciated. If you know someone that needs help. Or if someone is considering suicide. Please talk to someone. You are not alone."

Daily Voice has reached out to the Delaware River and Bay Authority Police for comment.

Marvin’s friends and loved ones described him as a charismatic and devoted friend whose sudden loss has left his family devastated,

The money raised through the campaign will go toward search efforts, funeral expenses, and other financial burdens following his tragic passing.

“Any contribution to the fund is deeply appreciated by the family, no matter how small,” the fundraiser reads.
